About Dr. VanHusan Dr. VanHusan has always had a love of animals and people, both of which have driven her career path. She received her Minor in Neuroscience in 2002 then her Bachelor of Art’s degree in Psychology at Miami University of Ohio in 2003. She then went on to obtain her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2007. She has extensive experience in private small animal clinical practice in multiple hospitals, with a special interest in internal medicine, dentistry, and geriatric care. As an Antech Professional Services Veterinarian, Dr. VanHusan partners with field sales representatives to provide support and consultative services to practice owners and veterinary staff, incorporating Antech and Sound diagnostics to collaborate towards the goal of best medicine. Dr. VanHusan enjoys living in the Toledo area with her husband Charley, two cats named Mitchell and Remy, a senior basset hound named Ruby, and a miniature dachshund Dodi. When not working, Dr. VanHusan enjoys home remodeling and spending as much time as possible outdoors with her husband and dogs. She especially loves hiking, particularly in northern Michigan and the Pacific Northwest.
